Story

has an older sister named Callista

their parents abused them for being witches and Callista used to try to protect Aris from the beatings

when she was 7, Callista couldn't take it anymore, she flipped out and started attacking villagers
sister shattered their parents and held out a hand for Aris to join her

Aris refused and attempted to talk her sister down but nothing worked

they fought - ice against water and Aris was nearly killed in the process

in the end, it took her losing control to break the nearby damn and she flooded the entire village

everyone died except for her (sister is alive and missing but Aris doesn't know it)

She was 10-11 when she found Lila and Very Grown Up for someone that age

now Aris spends her days trying to make up for killing so many. which is why she's so damn nice
and uses her abilities to try to help others
trying to be a gentle babbling brook
rather than a raging tidal wave
